Medical marijuana is not allowed to all Americans that should have that access, it should
be legal for more conditions like chronic pain, HIV, and PTSD and should be legal in all states.
This issue could help thousands of people feel the relief that their standardized medications can
not provide. The patients that are not able to gain access in those states are the patients that are at
stake. First trying to reach the people that can vote and that could but the bill for medical
marijuana in motion. Also, the people who can make a difference for those patients are the
people in The House of Representatives, they allow the bill of medical marijuana to be passed up
to the next level. The most important group of readers are the citizens, fellow classmates, without
their votes the bill would never be able to move forward to make a difference. If everything goes
through, then the governor will get to be able to pass the bill in each state. Some of the major
difficulties that will come is that some states view medical marijuana as a schedule 1 drug which
is why they do not allow it as a medicine. With the federal government passing this as a
scheduled 2 drug then that allows it to be used for patients. (Sean Williams). Other issues that
might come up would have to be the financial struggles that businesses will encounter, trying to
get loans from banks they fear for the legal consequences (Sean Williams). Although theses may
be concerning if the bill is passed to all states the banks will see that it is more beneficial to give
out the loans needed and not have to worry about legal consequences if medical marijuana is
considered a schedule 2 drug. Some of the research that will be provided is how Texas was once

a state that only allowed medical marijuana for one condition, to now expanding it to more
conditions.
