Operation:
The operator provides control force to
the regulator valve piston which adjusts, Supply 3,000 5,000
by linear motion, position of ShearFlo Outlet 0 - 2,000 + 0 - 3,000 +
seals in relation to the flow ports. All the Regulated
operations, except the manual, may be Standard 500 - 2,000 + 500 - 3,000 + HYDRAULIC PILOT
remotely controlled.
Mid Range 300 - 3,000 + 300 - 3,000 +
Low Dead Band 100 - 1,500 100 - 1,750
MANUAL
Adjustment handle can be threaded in
or out to increase or decrease
compression on a spring. AIR DIAPHRAGM
A single adjustable air signal operates a HYDRAULIC PILOT
HYDRAULIC PILOT rubber diaphragm. (with Manual Override)

A single adjustable hydraulic signal

operates on a piston with a 1:1 ratio
which allows for simple operation.
MOTOR/GEAR DRIVE
Gear drive actuator powered by a
pneumatic or hydraulic motor provides a
failsafe feature with manual override in
the event of loss of control signal.
HYDRAULIC PILOT w/Manual Overdrive
Manual adjustment of the compression
spring presets the lower pressure range.
The hydraullic pilot signal can then be
applied and controlled remotely for
operation through the pressure range.
The spring assembly replaces the need
for an accumulator in the pilot circuit. FAILSAFE
