SCHOOL-BASED LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC)


IMPLEMENTATION PLAN S.Y. 2019-2020
I. RATIONALE

School –based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) of San Rafael Elementary School clustered with San Mateo
Elementary School is anchored with SIDLAK BUKIDNON through SIDLAC (Strengthen Instructional Delivery through
Learning Action Cell) consistent with the inputs and results of the Electronic Self-Assessment Tool (E-SAT) on the needs
and priorities of the teachers in their professional and teaching development that is comparative to the Philippine
Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST). This focus more on the teaching-learning process, behavioural management,
and ICT integration. It is an avenue for continuous and effective yet efficient in-service training for teachers’
improvement.
The School-based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) will provide an opportunity for teachers to learn together, receive
new concepts, revisit or review on the best instructional techniques and strategies, and brainstorm on the issues and
concerns they encounter every day in their classroom and teaching career. This also serves as a support to the teachers
to have an innovative and creative practices that would augment and heightened their skills and competencies in
teaching.

II. OBJECTIVE

To enhance the skills of the teachers in teaching literacy and numeracy skills among pupils. (PPST Strand 1.4)
