    First Aid, CPR and AED 8 hours delivered over
    one day
    Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that
    teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or Fees:
    sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services Bahrain: BD 220
    (EMS) arrives.

    The course will outline the following units:

    • First aid basics • Medical emergencies


    • Injury emergency • Environmental emergencies
    • Adult CPR and AED use • Optional modules in child CPR
    and AED use and infant CPR.
    • Optional written test

    Course Assesment

    • Written assessment
    • Practical assessment.

    Upon successful completion the candidate is entitled for a certificate of completion


    and First Aid card issued by king Hamad university hospital valid for 2 years.

    this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a
