KASB Bank Limited provides various consumer and commercial banking services in
Pakistan. The company operates in three segments: Trading and Sales, Retail
Banking, and Commercial Banking. The Trading and Sales segment offers fixed
income, equity, foreign exchanges, commodities, credit, funding, own position
securities, lending and repos, brokerage debt, and prime brokerage. The Retail
Banking segment provides retail lending and deposits, banking, trust and estates,
private lending and deposits, and consumer assets. The Commercial Banking
segment offers project finance, real estate, export finance, trade finance, leasing,
lending, guarantees, bills of exchange, and deposits. The company’s products
include Mahana Khazana, Maheena Asaan Business Flex, Cash Assan, Ghar
Asaan, Karobar Asaan, and Education Asaan. It also provides asset management
and investment banking services. As of December 31, 2007, KASB Bank operated
35 branches in Pakistan. The company was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in
Karachi, Pakistan.

Kasb Bank Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter of 2008. For the period, the
company reported profit after tax of PKR 91 million or PKR 0.23 per share against profit after tax
of PKR 30 million or PKR 0.08 per share for the same period in the previous year.

Kasb Bank Plans to Open Three More Branches in Balochistan

this regard has been given by the central bank and steps are being taken to set up these three
branches.

Kasb Branch Opens in Multan

Kasb Bank Ltd. is planning to expand its network in the country and set fresh precedents of
service and quality management to provide a taste of international banking even in Pakistan's
remote areas. This was stated by Amir Zahoor Khan, Country Head Branch Banking while talking
to newsmen after the inauguration of KASB branch in Multan.
