I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards At the end of the lesson, 85% of the learners should be able to demonstrate
their understanding of the human person as an embodied spirit
B. Performance Standards The learner distinguishes his/her own limitations and the possibilities for
his/her transcendence
C. Learning Competencies / The learners should be able to:
Objectives. Recognize their own limitations and possibilities (PPT11/12-If-3.1)
Write the LC code for each Evaluate own limitations and the possibilities for their transcendence

Recognize how the human body imposes limits and possibilities for

V. PROCEDURES
*Opening Prayer
Introductory Activity ( 10 *Greetings
minutes). *Announcement
*Checking of Attendance
*Classroom Management (arrange chairs, no unnecessary things in the
armed chair, clean classroom)
* The teacher will review the previous lesson and connect the new topic
by presenting the objective of the new lesson.
Activity/Strategy ( 10 The teacher ask the students the following question for them to ponder:
minutes “What makes us special?” and then group the student.
Analysis (30 minutes). Each student will answer the question with their group mates. Each
group will select the best answer of their members and present it to the
class.
Abstraction (30 minutes). The teacher will discuss the topic using the following guide questions
1. What is the human person?
2. What is in our human nature that enables us to become persons?
3. How are the body and the spirit related?
4. How does my human nature enable me to explore my limits?
Application (15 minutes). After the discussion, the teacher will give the students an activity called
“Complete the chart” for them to answer the following questions:
Things that I can do/things that I cannot do, age 0-3, 4-7, 8-11, 12-15,
16 years up
Assessment (25 minutes). Short Quiz
Assignment/Agreement *Research on an individual who has overcome his or her limitations to
great success. Identify the factors that made that individual successful.
Present your work as a report in class.
