CHR3001 EMPLOYEE CRUISING DISCOUNT POLICY

PURPOSE

Genting Hong Kong Group (“the Company”) is committed to provide privilege cruising discounts as
part of employees’ benefits to all eligible employees, so as encourage our employees and their family
members, relatives and friends to experience cruising on our fleet, Dream Cruises and Star Cruises.

This Policy (“policy”) defines the privilege details, terms & conditions, as well as the application
procedure, for applying to this benefit.

SCOPE

This policy applies to every confirmed shore-based and ship-based employees (“The Employee”),
including all *dispatched workers, of the Company, its subsidiaries, and its affiliated corporations
(“the Company”).

*Dispatched workers refer to the employees who are employed by a third-party agency. However,
concessionaires, guest artistes, contractors and riding crew onboard the ship are excluded.

DEFINITIONS

Immediate Family Member(s) refers to First legal spouse, children and their legal spouse, brothers
and their legal spouse, sisters and their legal spouse, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and
grandchildren of the employee.

Friends and relative(s) refers to any other not defined as Immediate Family Members under this policy.

Remarks:
 Given that Employee(s) and/ or Immediate Family Member(s) are travelling together, their
Friends and relative(s) cruising in the same voyage can enjoy the same rate as listed in
Category 1, subject to quota eligibility and cabin availability.
 Standard Suite/ Balcony benefits are applied.
 Cabin allocation is subject to the lowest available cabin sub-category (excluding Villas,
Penthouse, Premium and Executive Suites etc).
 A further 50% discount will be given for the 3rd/ 4th passengers staying in the same cabin.
 No charge for any child below two (2) years of age when accompanied by two (2) paying
passengers.
 For single occupancy, 150% fare will be applied.
 This does not include gratuity, which should be paid onboard according to cabin category.
 This does not include port charges.

The discount privileges/ quota are non-combinable, non-accumulative and cannot be carried forward
to the following year(s).

The employee is not allowed to request for an advance of future years’ entitlements.

Notwithstanding the conditions for qualifying for the above discounts, the Company may, from time
to time, announce some special discounts/ promotional cruises for all employees. Employee who
have enjoyed promotions outside of this policy will not be deemed to have utilized their discount
quota stipulated herein.

POLICY

The discount privileges are given at the sole discretion of the Company and will not form part of the
contractual benefit.

The discount privileges and cabin allocation are subject to cabin availability and the decision of
Revenue Management will be final.

Discount privileges shall be applied only to the ‘Cabin’ component in any fly-cruise arrangements or
packages which involve other logistics arrangements.

No discount will be extended for gratuities, port charges, F&B services charges and holiday surcharge.

Unless specified, employees are not entitled to other “free of charge” promotion or other
compensations that are offered to other passengers during cruise.

Standard cancellation and amendment fees will be imposed if the booking is cancelled for reasons
other than compassionate reasons, health or at the Company’s request.

The Employee must adhere to the Company’s policy and are not allowed to participate any kinds of
gaming activities (includes the “Chance Machines” like “Key Master” and “Coin Pusher”) when
cruising onboard the Company’s vessels.

The Company reserves the right to reject any application without further elaboration on the reasons
whatsoever.

The Company reserves the right to change and/ or cancel the cruising confirmation when the ship is
chartered. In the event of such cancellation, compensation treatment will be handled on a case by
case basis, subject to management decision, and this may not be applied similarly to normal paying
passengers.

The Employee is prohibited to resell the special rates stipulated in this policy to any third party.
Employee who are found to abuse these privileges shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Requisitions for cruises by business/ government associates shall be approved by Senior Vice
President and above, on a case by case basis.

PROCEDURES

The eligible employee must apply for the employee cruising discounts using the e-Cabin System (B2C
Form), as below:

 Employees & Immediate Family Members;


 Employees Relatives & Friends- Referral.

The eligible crew must apply for crew discounts using appropriate forms. These forms are available
from Personnel Office and the company’s intranet (QMS).

 XCHR3001 – Staff Discount Cabin Requisition Form for crew and immediate family
members.
 XCHR4004 – Cabin Requisition Form for discount application other than crew and
immediate family members.
 Fleet HR will assist eligible crew to apply for employee cruising discount.

The employee shall be responsible to ensure the e-Cabin forms are duly completed.

The employee who is found falsifying shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Confirmation of booking will be sent to the requestor(s) upon reservation if cabins are available and
payment is confirmed.

Full payment must be made within forty eight (48) hours upon receipt of booking confirmation.
Otherwise, bookings will be automatically cancelled. Payment can be made by credit card or cash
bank-in directly to the Company’s designated account.

Appeal for waiver of Cancellation/ Amendment Fees levied other than compassionate reasons, health
or at the Company’s request shall be approved by the Head of Revenue Management.

The Human Resources Division (HRD), Revenue Management Division (RM) and Reservation Office
are authorized to reject requisitions that are not in compliance with the guidelines stated herein.

Remarks:
 The above discounts shall NOT be applicable to items sold on consignment, under promotional
prices or with discounts. Also, discounts are not applicable to certain specialty or discounted
items and may be adjusted without prior notice.

 Onboard services are subject to availability and priority shall be given to full-paying guests.
Employee should enjoy the services during other free time slots.

To be eligible for the discounts, the employee must present both the Employee ID Card and Cabin
Room Card to the crew on duty for verification when patronizing any outlets or services onboard.

Unless specified, the employee’s Immediate Family Members/ Relatives and Friends who are cruising
on the discounted cruises shall not be entitled to these additional discounts.

These special discounts are strictly considered employee privileges and the employee who found to
abuse these privileges shall be subject to disciplinary action.

OTHERS

The Company has the sole discretion to grant any exemption or exception from the provisions stated
in this policy as long they do not conflict with the laws. Any such provision, however, is subject to
the approval of the Head of HR.

The Company also reserves the right to amend, add or delete any provision written in this policy.

If there is any conflict between the local laws and the policy, local laws shall apply.
