To successfully realize all his objectives that is guided by the 5 pillars of JCI, JCI Member

Raymund Christopher R. dela Pena did the following in his 3 years as an proactive member:

o Equipped himself with the necessary skills by attending various JCI training
course and non-official training courses and passed all knowledge tests in order
for him to become a Certified Trainer for:

JCI Member Raymund Christopher dela Pena has successfully chaired and co-chaired the
following community projects in our Local Organization:

 Compassion in Motion Year 2


o Now on its 2nd year, Compassion in Motion is the flagship program of our Local
Organization that focuses on the United NationsHe was actively involved in the
actual planning, implementation and evaluation from Wave 1 to 4 in different
communities.
 Green Classroom
o An eco-campus program that focuses on environmental activities. He planted
trees and mangroves, helped in coastal clean up activities and served as lecturer in
various environmental advocacy lectures.
 Bean of Hope
o Co-chaired this collaborative project with JCI Makati. It was a fundraising project
that aimed to help the children of coffee farmers in the upland municipality of
Gregorio Del Pilar, Ilocos Sur.
 #Goals: Camp for Human Rights
o Served as facilitator, trainer and lecturer which aims to spread more awareness on
Human Rights especially the youth.
 That faith in god gives meaning and purpose to human life
o Brought up to be a God-fearing person, he attends Mass every Sunday, listens to
His wisdom and applies it to his life.
 That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations
o Attends different national and international conventions and events that expand
his network opportunities, meet experts/influencers and be with like-minded
individuals who wants to "better" themselves.
 That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise
o As a nurse-educator in a government-owned university, he has equipped his
students the necessary skills they need to become competent nurses here and
abroad.
 That government should be of laws rather than of men
o As an officer of the Philippine Nurses Association, he protects the welfare of
nurses here in the country.
 That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality
o His sense of humor and light-hearted approach makes him easy to work with.
That is why our friends call him as our ball of sunshine.
 And that service to humanity is the best work of life
o A lifesaver, an educator, a volunteer, a follower and a dedicated and selfless
leader. ñ
