WEEKLY PLAN

Teaching Materials: Student Book, Work Book, Teacher’s Resource Book, CD, PPT, worksheets and a
vocabulary wall
Aims and Objectives:
 Students will learn new vocabulary words.
 Students will improve their listening skills by listening audio.
 Students will practise speaking skills through vocabulary words and relating their exerence with text.
 Comprehension skills will be improved by writing answers.

Guidance Message:Mystery force us to reveal the truth,solve your little probems with guidance of
your elders.
Monday
1st and 2nd period
The topic "Mystery"will be written on board.Ss will be asked for brainstorming
about the topic.Teacher will help them in learning new vocabulary used in the
Vocabulary lesson by ECWD method.The teacher will elicit the meaning of the words with
Unit 7 help of pictures and gestures.The teacher will check students understanding
level by asking different questions.The words will be written on board.The
words will be repeated for reinforcement.
Tuesday
1st and 2nd period

Warm up of the vocabulary words.Teacher will read the words on pg#101 and
Listening/Speaking give clues to match them correctly .The students would discuss the pictures
and give their opinion.They will solve exercise B in the supervision of teacher.

Wednesday Students will listen the audio of "Stolen Cake" pg#102-103.A small discussion
4thand 5th period related to the story will be done regarding different features the main
character precious,Tapiwa and mystery of stolen cake etc.After that the
discussion regarding the theme ,characters and setting will be held to clear the
Reading concept of the story
MORAL LESSON:In the end teacher will elicit the main idea or theme of the

Mystrey reveals the truth if we unsolve it we should solve our little problem
with help of elders.
Prior knowledge of the text will be asked through short questions like"Who was
Thiapa and precious?What was the main mystery?Why they were worried?Then
4thand 5thperiod
t'll divide st into two groups.Both the groups will ask content based question
from the other group taking turns and t'll assure that st are referring the
answers from the text .Then st will be asked to write the answers of
Comprehension comprehension questions on pg#104 in their notebooks

THE TWO FROGS:The teacher will ask to walk through the pictures and create a
story verbally without reading.silent reading pg#5_15 by the students.Teacher
will review the story through critical thinking

HOMEWORK:

1.Do part B given on pg#101.

2.Reading of pg#102,103.
