Business ethics:
1. From the video about business ethics, what do you think is most important about have
good business ethics? In what way do having ethics improve the way you do business?

- The most important thing in having good business ethics is doing the right no matter
what. You must establish a set of rules and policies within the business organization that
they must follow. Having good business ethics will also improve the reputation of your
business. And therefore, it will be easier to have connections and relationships with
other business organizations.

2. In the video “Is it worth it” do you think what Tim does in the beginning for his
employees is ethical? Explain the scenario in the video and explain your answer.

- In the beginning parts of the video, Tim was preparing to give lai-see packets to his
employees as a good luck token before they start a new business. For me, it is ethical
because it motivates and inspires the employees of the company. And in the future, this
might have a chain effect, for the employees may learn to share their blessings as well.

3. What do you think Tim does? Why?

- In my opinion, I see a good man in Tim. I think he will not accept the offer of Johnny
even though he may be a big help in boosting Tim’s company. Tim may lose a huge
amount of money in supplying some of the materials that Johnny wants. And his
company’s reputation might be also ruined if he went and used cheaper materials for
Johnny’s new house.

4. After watching the video about corporate social responsibility, in your own words
explain how it affects a customer/consumer like yourself?

- Corporate Social Responsibility is where we try to prevent and eliminate the corrupted
and bad side to our economic activities. CSR must have a system where customers can
have beneficial advantages. CSR should also help us consumers use different products
and services that will benefit us, them, and the society. Corporations should also think of
the social effect of its activities, and not only think of their profits and money.

5. Based from the video what are the ways that CSR helps companies do business
better?

 Growth in the society.

 Customer benefits.
 Business for the good of others.
 Prevents corrupted ways.
 Avoids unethical ways.
