Introduction
Educator will divide the learners into groups of 4 or 6, give each group a topic
Each group will be given a will browse the websites for information and use the expected
resources to research about a given topic.
Topics
a) Explain how electricity is made from different source.
b) Identify the advantages and the disadvantage of using the source of energy to generate
electricity.
c) Suggest ideas and way on what can be done to solve the problem of scarcity of energy fuels
in SA.
d) Discuss how pollution from generation of electricity cause global warming.
e) Suggest ways on what can be done to minimize global warming.
Activities
In this topic you will be dealing with different aspects of global warming.
1. Activity 1- You will research the causes, effects and what humans need to do to
prevent our planet from being damaged further.
2. Activity 2 - Discuss who has been affected by global warming. You will learn
how to brainstorm, organize information and plan.

Nature conservationist
You have a big love for nature and concerned about nature, water
conserving, plants, animals and the environment and anything to do with the
sea and the creatures who live in its watery. They enjoy working with people
and animals and spend a great deal of their time studying the ways of
animals in their natural habitats.
Entrepreneur
You a running a business and you have received a letter from the minister
that you must close you company because the community has complained
about the fumes and the smoke that is coming from your company.
Meteorologist
