MINI PROJECT
Title: SMART WATER LEVEL DETECTOR

Abstract : Water is the main source of our life. It is the most required, important and individual part of all
living beings. We cannot imagine life without water. House –hold Water tank overflow when being pumped
from a bore well is a common problem which leads to the wastage of water. We have to overcome this
problem through simple technique. This project is based on a simple water level probe linking on
CONDUCTIVITY PRINCIPLE and whenever tank gets filled to our desired level, we get alerts on particular
levels. Here we have created three levels, and we can create alarms on level. There are two LEDs to indicate
two initial levels and one buzzer to indicate overflow. When tank gets filled completely we get sound from
buzzer. And also we would include the facility to communicate those alerts to our mobile phones through
message by using arduino, microcontroller along with GSM module so that we can switch off the motor on
time. The probe construction is simple with no moving parts such as floats for detecting water-level.
