Start & Stop Control

Left side of the screen is the reference


area and it is always available.

• Pushbutton OFF (local: at site).

• Pushbutton ON (local: at site)


After this button is pressed a general
compressor symbol is displayed. The
symbol will blink during the Start-up and
shutdown.

The presence of a lock symbol indicates that the local control is


locked and only a remote command can start or stop the machine.

Local VFD Control


 Only possible with EM4 module (optional)
 Local speed control using HMI push buttons
 Remote speed command can be delivered via
hardwire or using a communication protocol
(Modbus, Ethernet)
 HMI displays a % of max speed
 History of the operating speed
is recorded and can be viewed
graphically

Service and information

Permanent order- and message area (left side)

• Service : The line within this icon moves to the right as


the next service interval approaches.

• Informational Pushbutton that displays the software


version and the address and contact info of Aerzen.
• This pushbutton blinks when an alarm or fault is
present. If this button is pressed whiling blinking the
list of alarms or faults is displayed with the date and
time of occurrence.

Alarm & Fault-Shut Down

The screen blinks yellow when an alarm


is present. If the alarm is acknowledged
but the alarm is still present, the screen
will continue to blink

When a fault occurs the screen


blinks red. If the fault condition is
still present when the operator
acknowledges the occurrence, the
screen will continue to flash and the
machine cannot be restarted

With “0h” a service and


maintenance interval will be
omitted from the list

Service & Maintenance Messages


The information icon blinks until the
service interval is reset in the “menu
maintenance acknowledge”.

If a service interval occurs the screen will


blink yellow regardless of which window
is present.
After acknowledgement in the message
window the screen is still yellow
