BETTER TIME: PROJECT FOR

MILLENNIALS

What can a person do for the betterment of his respective institution? What can the
administrators do for the beautification of such schools? Or better yet, what can the
government or department/agencies make for the properness and organization of different
schools? Every day, there lies a variety of programs, activities and projects for the students.
In fact, there are many of the said things that can assure additional perfection for the
education of the students. Just like what we have here in our residential place. Want to know

The Department of Education in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur had launched a new project known as
the Better “Time” in which it is proverbially known as a mnemonic. So, what’s the definition
of each letters in “TIME”? T stands for Teachers, IM stands for Instructional Materials and E
stands proudly for Environment. To sum it up, this simply means, Better Teachers (clearly
giving the teachers the right perception and conceptualized ideas of their teaching for the
students), Better Instructional Materials (absolutely providing the respective institutions with
sufficient materials for the better understanding of the students when in the midst of learning
productively) and Better Environment (in which, it will serve as the search for the best
Kindergarten environment. And so with this, every students will be encourage to make their
surroundings clean and neat). This program aims to help the students, particularly and only
the Kindergarten students, to bring out the best of their ability, intellect and knowledge
through different festivals that will be held, through the projects that will be given in which
industriousness will be essential and through a varieties of competitions/contests that will be
held, such as; Spelling Bee, Calisthenics, Poem reciting and Reading a story in which the
presence of City Officials will be, of course, necessary.
This is just the program for the Kindergarten students in which parents will lovely know and
support for it is for their children’s betterment in education. For sure, the understanding and
perception of the kids will totally enhance and be widen because of the several
competitions/contests which include the use of their intellect and festivals in which their
talents and well trained skills will be featured.
This is just a head start for the pupils. For sure, there still are lots of projects and activities
that will come as they grow up. And yes, the magical words of our Philippine Hero, Dr. Jose
Rizal will truly and surely come true, “Ang Kabataan ang pag-asa ng Bayan”.
