“RESOLUTION NO. 2017-102

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OPENING OF ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF

SAN NICOLAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE AT THE LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES, SAN NICOLAS BRANCH AND AUTHORIZING THE HON. ALFREDO P.
VALDEZ, JR., MUNICIPAL MAYOR, HON. EDISTIO P. VALDEZ, MUNICIPAL VICE-MAYOR,
HON. ANGEL MIGUEL L. HERNANDO, HIGHEST RANKED SANGGUNIANG BAYAN
MEMBER, AS SIGNATORIES A AND MR. HENRY U. ULEP, MUNICIPAL TREASURER, AND
MS. MYRNA T. CORPUZ, ASSISTANT MUNICIPAL TREASURER AS SIGNATORIES B
WITH THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES, SAN NICOLAS BRANCH SPECIFYING
THEIR OFFICIAL SIGNATURES RELATIVE TO THE MUNICIPALITY’S TRANSACTIONS
WITH THE BANK.

WHEREAS, the municipality has an existing account at the Land Bank of the Philippines
(LBP), Laoag Branch;

WHEREAS, the LBP has opened a branch at San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, and the LGU
deems it more convenient to transfer the municipality’s account in the said newly opened branch
at the Valdez Center;

WHEREAS, it is imperative and necessary to pass and adopt this measure in order that
there will be smooth transactions with the aforesaid bank;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to authorize

the opening of account of the Municipality of San Nicolas, Province of Ilocos Norte at the Land
Bank of the Philippines, San Nicolas Branch and to authorize the herein municipal officials, as
authorized signatories with the bank, as follows:

a. Hon. Alfredo P. Valdez, Jr., Municipal Mayor _________________

b. Hon. Edistio P. Valdez, Municipal Vice-Mayor _________________

c. Hon. Angel Miguel L. Hernando, Senior SB Member _________________

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this resolution to Land Bank of the

Philippines, San Nicolas Branch and all concerned, for their information and guidance.

On motion of Member Norberto S. Dadiz, Jr., duly seconded, the foregoing resolution
was unanimously approved.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

Voting on the foregoing resolution was as follows:
