The product won’t be known until you will promote it in/trough ads.
3. Furnizorul nostru ne-a informat prin telefon că expediase deja marfa când a primit
faxul nostru.
Our supplier informed us on the telephone that he had already shipped/dispatched
the merchandise when he got our fax.
4. Nu am expediat scrisoarea pentru că voi vorbi oricum la telefon cu directorul lor
de vânzări.
I haven’t sent the letter because I will talk on the phone with their sales manager.
5. Dacă nu vom verifica cifrele din nou, nu vom putea şti unde am greşit.
If we don’t check the figures again, we won’t be able to know where we were
wrong.
6. Îndată ce vom avea rezultatele cercetării de piaţă, vom discuta propunerea lui.
As soon as we have the results of the market research, we will talk about his
proposal.

B. Marketing department – TV – Crystal 20M – info about new TV equipement for clubs.

We thank you for your letter of 7 February 2016 enquiring about our Crystal 20M
TV’s whose advertisement you saw in “The Fancy Home” magazine.
We confirm the technical data given in the advertisement. In order to help you to
have a clearer image of our product, we have pleasure in sending you our catalogue and
the price list of our products.
Please note that on all orders for the advertised product sent to us by 20 March
2016, we will give a 5% trade discount for orders of at least 120 pieces.

Business relies on advertising and there is a large advertising industry.


Advertising is informative – the producer needs people to be informed about the

existence and the qualities of a new product and persuasive – producers need people to
buy their products. One of the best forms of advertising, alongside audio and printed
advertisements is spoken advertising. This means you advertise a product every time you
tell your friends about its qualities. Certain companies have their own advertising
departments, but most use advertising agencies. In exchange for a sum of money, the
advertiser is given a set of objectives of the advertising company and told what message
the producer wants to communicate to the target customers. A media plan means
specifying which media will be used and in what proportions.
Advertising agencies must follow the principles of confidentiality, the principle of
fair competition and faithfulness to both producer and customer, the ads have to be decent
and legal.
