FINDINGS
First Assessment reflects the walk pattern in Gait Cycle % of circumductory gait / hemiplegic gait on the left side
The Second Assessment reflects the effect of change in therapy protocol to change the gait
The change has reduced the walk quality temporarily as the patient “adapts” to the new muscle movement
FINDINGS
As the left side undergoes the need for “adaptation”, there is corresponding increase in the right stance phase
The left & right walk quality index clearly demonstrates the subject being in training towards new pattern
The new pattern should be further co-related with changes in Pelvis TILT
FINDINGS
The Gait Cycle duration shows improvement as it has reduced from 2 sec to 1.85 sec
The Cadence (no of steps/min) also shows increase which is a sign of improvement
FINDINGS
There is overall improved strength in both right and left leg
The increased gap in symmetry can be co-related to the walk pattern correction that has been effected
SECOND ASSESSMENT
FINDINGS
Improvement in Symmetry can be seen in the patients pelvis movement
The excess movement in pelvis shows a reduction by 2 degrees
SECOND ASSESSMENT
FINDINGS
The lateral symmetry does not currently show any improvement infact it has been reduced
The excessive right leg lateral tilt as seen during the first assessment seems to be reducing already
SECOND ASSESSMENT
FINDINGS
The symmetry in pelvis rotational movement has reduced
No significant change is yet seen in pelvis rotation
