PENGARUH KODIFIKASI DIAGNOSA SEBAB LUAR (EXTERNAL CAUSE) PADA

PASIEN KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS TERHADAP KUALITAS LAPORAN DI
RUMAH SAKIT MUHAMMADIYAH BANDUNG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Kodifikasi diagnosa sebab
luar (external cause) pada pasien kecelakaan lalu lintas terhadap kualitas laporan di Rumah
Sakit Muhammadiyah Bandung.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan

kuantitatif, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, studi
kepustakaan dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis normalitas data,
koefisien korelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana, pengujian hipotesis dan koefisien
determinasi menggunakan spss versi 21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat hasil korelasi
sebesar 0,742 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,064 yang berarti kuat dan berpengaruh positif, nilai
koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,718 yang berarti pengaruh kodifikasi diagnosa sebab luar
terhadap kualitas laporan sebesar 71,8%, atau dibulatkan menjadi 72% sedangkan 28%
dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian yaitu : 1) belum terlaksananya kodifikasi

diagnosa sebab luar, 2) belum terklasifikasinya pasien berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan umur, 3)
belum tercantumnya kodifikasi sebab luar pada laporan kecelakaan lalu lintas.

Saran yang diberikan penulis yaitu : 1) melaksanakan kodifikasi diagnosa sebab luar,
2) mengklasifikasikan pasien kecelakaan berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan umur, 3)
mencantumkan kodifikasi sebab luar pada laporan kecelakaan lalu lintas, 4) membuat standar
opersaional prosedur.

THE INFLUENCE OF EXTERNAL CAUSE DIAGNOSTIC CODIFICATION ON
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT PATIENTS ON THE QUALITY OF REPORT AT RUMAH SAKIT
MUHAMMADIYAH BANDUNG.

This research aims to determine how much the diagnostic codification of external cause
in traffic accident patients influenced the quality of reports in the Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah
Bandung.
This research is using descriptive methode with quantitative approach, while the
methode of collecting data were done by doing observation, literature study and questionnarie.
The data analysis techniques is using data normalization analysis, correlation coefficient,
simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and determination using spss version 21.
Basen on the research result, obtained a correlation of 0,742 with significance level of 0,064
which means very strong and have a positive influence, the value of coefficient of determination
of 0,718 means the influence of external cause diagnostic codifications to the report quality its
71,8% or rounded to 72% while 28% are influenced by other careless factors.
The problems that exist in the research are : 1) codification of external cause has not
been done yet, 2) traffic accident patients have not been classified by sex and age, 3)
codification of external cause has not been mentioned in traffic accident report.
Suggestions given by the authors are : 1) carry out codification of external cause, 2)
classify traffic accident patients by sex and age, 3) put in codification of external cause on
traffic accidents report, 4) make standard operating procedures.
