ABSENT
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to speak to Ms. Wagner about what you missed.
You will not receive extra class time to complete an assignment. You must make
arrangements to come and work during Open Studio Time after school (4:30 pm - 5:40
pm). Do not assume you can stay any day of the week. Arrangements must be made with
Ms. Wagner at least 1 day before you want to stay.

ASSIGNMENTS & LATE ASSIGNMENTS

Assignments are expected to be turned in by the due date. You are not allowed to work on late assignments in class once
we start a new assignment. They must be completed outside of class time and late work will be penalized. You must make
arrangements to come and work during Open Studio Time after school (4:30 pm - 5:40 pm). Do not assume you can stay
any day of the week. Arrangements must be made with Ms. Wagner at least 1 day before you want to stay.

TURNING IN ASSIGNMENTS
Assignments will be turned in electronically. Students will use the Aldine adopted program “Schoology”. You will be
responsible for taking a photo of your artwork and loading it into Schoology. You will also upload your artist statement on
this platform. If you turn in someone else's work as your own, you will receive a zero as well as the owner of the artwork.
Artwork will be graded through Schoology and is to be kept in the student’s portfolio.

ART FEE RESTROOM

The art fee for this course is $30/year or Make all efforts to go to the restroom before class. No student will be
$15/Semester. This fee covers consumable allowed to leave the 10 minutes after and before the bell rings. Only
supplies for your use throughout the school one student may go to the restroom at a time. Students will not be
year. allowed to use the restroom during instruction.

TARDY POLICY
Students who are marked tardy will receive the following consequences:
Tardies 1-3: Student/Teacher Conference
Tardies 4 & 5: Parent Contact
Tardies 6 & above: Mead Discipline Referral

CELL PHONE POLICY

Cell phones and earphones are to be put away. Students who break the rules will be warned
first. The second time they will lose cell phone privileges for a week and will be asked to
turn in their cell phones when they arrive to class each day. The third time will result in
their phone being turned into the office.

Ausente

ENTREGANDO TAREAS
Las tareas se entregarán electrónicamente. Los estudiantes utilizarán el programa adoptado por Aldine "Schoology". Usted
será responsable de tomar una foto de su obra de arte y cargarla en Schoology. También cargará su declaración de artista
en esta plataforma. Si entrega el trabajo de otra persona como el suyo, recibirá un cero, así como el propietario de la obra de
arte. Las ilustraciones se calificarán a través de Schoology y se mantendrán en la cartera del estudiante

TARIFA DE ARTE BAÑO

La tarifa de arte para este curso es de $30 Haga todos los esfuerzos para ir al baño antes de la clase. Ningún

REGLAS DEL TELÉFONO CELULAR

Los teléfonos celulares y los auriculares deben guardarse. Los estudiantes que rompan las
reglas serán advertidos primero. La segunda vez perderán los privilegios del teléfono
celular durante una semana y se les pedirá que entreguen sus teléfonos celulares cuando
lleguen a clase todos los días. La tercera vez dará como resultado que su teléfono se
entregue a la oficina.
