Does Technology replaces Humanity

We are in the 21st century. We cannot deny in this age of technology

generation,it seems that technology has totally eaten us."It is appallingly obvious that
our technology exceeded our humanity"(Albert Einstien).Yes, technology is introduced
to make our life easier but it takes away more than what has given to us. As a matter of
fact the evolution of technology created a huge impact in our way of thinking, and our
way of living. Technology is just like a door which brings us to an absolutely new world.

"I fear the day that technology will surpass humanity. The world will have a
generation of idiots"( Albert Einstien). Today technology is developing rapidly and taking
a greater role in our lives. In the pos World War ll period, the " Defense technology" was
foreground ( Senel & Gencuglo, 2013). Through out human history we've always looked
for better way to satisfy our needs. With the development of technology, new
oppurtunities and possibilities have been created which facilitate our work in every area
of our life ( Lamb & Akbulut 2013). The internet has become an indispensable part of
our life now a days with being an important communication and information sharing
tools which frequently used in school, business and cummunity life ( Teri & Tanidir,
2011). The usage of social media around the world in ever-increasing. It's without a
doubt one of the most popular online activities that users engage in social media
statistics from 2019 show that there are 3.2 billion social media users worldwide and
this number is only growing. That equates to about 42 % of the current population
(Emarsays, 2019). "Technology should improve your life not become your life" ( Billy
Cox ). We should know our limitations. "Technology is destructive only in the hands of
the people who do not realize that they are one and the same process as the universe" (
Watts).

Now the point is our society is obsessed with technology ,its almost as if we've
become slaves to the screen. So, don't allow yourself to lose sight of the importance of
human bond. Stop texting your grand mother, get up, go over and visit her.
