Effect. BTU/h
Sensible Exch. 91.2% 444,899
Latent Exch. 83.6% 395,594
Total Exch. 87.8% 840,493
Rotor Media:
Shall be "AmeriVent" corrugated aluminum. Surface shall be coated with water selective, non-migrating, 3A molecular sieve, desiccant.
Sensible heat recovery only rotors are epoxy coated to prevent latent transfer. Aluminum base material shall be 50 microns thick (0.002")
with consistent coating such that media density is not less than 14 lbs/ft3, and media wall thickness is not less than 0.005".
Media shall be corrugated with a flute height of 1.7 mm (0.067") and flute width of 3.4 mm (0.134") and shall be rated to withstand 250°FDB
intermittent temperature without loss of performance or reduction in mechanical integrity. Media may be cleaned with mild detergent, water,
compressed air, or low pressure steam (< 15 PSI). Rated Lifetime shall not be less than 87,600 hours and shall be defined by media performance
meeting >90% of the original specification.
Rotor Frame:
Shall be comprised of internal heavy gage spokes and aluminum (galvanized steel for sectorized rotors) center hub (full depth galvanized steel
de-mountable spokes for sectorized rotors). Spokes shall be welded at both the rotor and hub perimeters (bolted on sectorized rotors). Outer band
shall be constructed of aluminum (galvanized steel for sectorized rotors) for corrosion resistance. Outer band seam shall be joined by riveting
and/or bolting (sectorized rotors)
Rotor Bearings:
Shall be sealed (internal taper roller on 200 mm depth rotors) 200,000 hour rated non-maintenance type, preloaded and prelubricated for low and
standard temperature environments. Rotor bearings shall require press fit to hub, and shall be supplied, with the rotor, by the manufacturer.
