It’s not always easy or obvious to spot propagandas but there is a way to correctly identify
every single fake post in the social media articles. Not only by using grammar clues and
checking facts but mainly asking yourself about ; the purpose of it, the emotion it is trying to
get, what and how strong is the reaction it is trying to elicit.
One must use curiosity and critical inquiry to cut through the immediate emotional response
that propaganda is designed to evoke.
After critically identifying the post only then will be able to decide about what is our position.
And we should act and or react upon it responsibly, making sure we are not spreading
propagandas.

We can keep ourselves protected from social media propagandas by using our common
sense and critical thinking skills. We should not disseminate information that we are not sure
about. We should check first the validity of the news.

Today social media cannot be regarded as a means of spending spare time because it has
introduced the biggest shift since the times of the Industrial Revolution. Therefore, the
spread of online communication can also be considered a revolutionary shift. Social
networks have altered the traditional image of social communication and have provided
new incentives and tools of information exchange.
Social media has reached every facet of human activities. It has become an integral part of
communication means. Online networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, have penetrated to
social and cultural realms and have provided new patterns of acting in a real environment.
Virtual space, therefore, have become one more source by means of which people can
introduce their educational and business activities. Finally, online networks become
powerful tools for advertising products and services, as well as for attracting new marketing
targets. Overall, social media can be considered as a foundational shift in daily activities and
lifestyles. It is also a step up toward a new communication environment.

Believe it or not, our culture has been influenced by social media, whether it's from
advertising, peer pressure or information. Some people invest a lot of energy into their
status or, what they want others to think of them. Others just feel safer interacting online
rather than in person.
Social media both affects culture in good and bad way. Social media increased the
connections between people and created an environment in which you can share your
opinions, pictures and lots of stuff. Social media improved creativity and social awareness
for our society by interacting with other people and sharing new ideas and opinions. On the
other hand, social media has influenced our culture in negative ways. People can share
whatever they want to on social media and some of them might be inappropriate
pictures. People has become more conservative about each other’s point of view. People
started to argue about each other’s perspective related to political view, religion, social
rights and culture.
Indeed, social media hugely affects not just society but culture as well.
