About VVIT
Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology was
established under the aegis of Social Educational Trust,
Guntur in the year 2007.It has becomes autonomous
college from academic year 2019-2020. The All five
departments are accredited by NBA, New Delhi and
accredited by NAAC with A Grade. It is permanently
affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,
Kakinada and is approved by AICTE. The College offers
4-year B-Tech Programs in Civil, ECE, EEE, CSE, IT and
ME with a total intake of 1080 students. The College also
offers Master’s Programs in Computer Applications,
VLSI& Embedded System (ECE), Digital electronics and
Communication Systems (ECE), Computer Science and
Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives (EEE),
Structural Engineering (Civil), Machine Design
(Mechanical) with total intake of 126 students. Today
almost 4000 students, 245 teaching staff and 213 non-
teaching staff strive to fulfill the vision of VVIT. The college
has well qualified and experienced faculty with
42doctorates... VVIT has emerged as one of the top three
Engineering Colleges from the 200 engineering colleges
affiliated to the JNTUK Kakinada. The high-speed Wi-Fi
internet connectivity with 100 Mbps is provided. Siemens
Centre of Excellency with 15 high technology laboratories
including robotics laboratory has been set up to provide
training to the students of all the surrounding colleges and
unemployed rural yout All the classrooms are equipped
with ICT tools and air conditioned. The central library,
departmental libraries, and laboratories are established as
per AICTE norms.
It is the youngest Engineering College in the state to achieve
this recognition. MoUs with Google Inc. USA for establishing
Google Code labs, Stanford University USA under University
Innovative Fellowship (UIF) program and Venture
Development Centre established by North-eastern University,
Boston signify our commitment to quality technical education
where VVIT is lauded by the press as the first institution in the
state to seal the agreements. VVIT is the first college in the
Coastal Andhra Region to install a 100KW solar power plant
under Green Technology initiative. Realizing the slogan that
“Everyone Counts,” VVIT has the unique achievement of having
placed most of its students in MNCs like Tech Mahindra, Infosys,
TCS, Wipro, Athena Health Care, Open Text, Genpact,
Sutherlands, CSS Corp, Convergys, Apps Associates, etc. (almost
