Eligibility Criteria:

Programme Duration Eligibility

MBA 2 Years i) The candidate should have passed the Bachelors

degree of GITAM University or any University except BFA &
(4 Semesters) BOL recognized by GITAM University as equivalent thereto.
A candidate with professional qualification such as
BE/B.Tech./B.Pharm/Medicine/Law/CA/ICWA/ACS/AMIE/
AIETE, etc., is also eligible.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT
examination conducted by GITAM University and obtained
a rank.
iii) Admissions to the programme shall be made on the
basis of the rank obtained in GAT subject to the fulfillment
of the other eligibility criteria.

MCA 3 Years i) The candidate should have passed the Bachelors degree
of GITAM University or any university except BFA & BOL
recognized by GITAM University as equivalent thereto. A
candidate with professional qualification such as
BE/B.Tech./B.Pharm/B.Sc/BA/B.Com/BA/Medicine/Law/CA/
ICWA/ACS/AMIE/AIETE, etc., is also eligible provided he/she
had studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at
Intermediate or 10+2 level.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT examination
conducted by GITAM University and obtained a rank in GAT
subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

MA (English) 2 Years i) The candidate should have passed 3 or 4 years

bachelors degree of any university recognized by GITAM
University as equivalent thereto. A candidate with
professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/
ACS/AMIE/AIETE is also eligible.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT
examination conducted by GITAM University. Admissions to
the programme shall be made on the basis of the rank
obtained in GAT subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility
crieria.

MA ( Economics ) 2 Years i) The candidate should have passed any degree other
than BFA and BAOL of any university recognized by
GITAM University as equivalent thereto.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT
examination conducted by GITAM University. Admissions
to the programme shall be made on the basis of the rank
obtained in GAT subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility
criteria.
MCom 2 Years i) The candidate should have passed any degree of any
university recognized by GITAM University as equivalent
thereto or professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ACS,
etc.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT
examination conducted by GITAM University and obtained
a rank. Admissions to the programme shall be made on
the basis of the rank obtained subject to the fulfillment
of the eligibility criteria.

M.Sc The candidate should have passed B.Sc. or equivalent exam

(Biotechnology) 2 Years with any two of the following courses: Biochemistry,
Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Medical
Lab Technology, Genetics, Zoology, Botany, Agriculture,
Veterinary Science and Environmental Science.

i) The candidate should have passed the two year

BA 3 Years Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of
Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh or any examination
(10+2) equivalent thereto recognized by GITAM University.
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT examination
conducted by GITAM University and obtained a rank.
iii) The candidate without any formal educational
qualification is also eligible provided he/she completes 18
years of age as on 1st July of the year in which he/she seeks
admission and is qualified in GAT.

Admission to the programme shall be made on the basis of

pass obtained in GAT subject to the fulfillment of the
eligibility criteria.

i) The candidate should have passed the two year

BCom 3 Years Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of
Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh or any
examination (10+2) equivalent thereto recognized by
GITAM University
ii) The candidate should have appeared for GAT
examination conducted by GITAM University and obtained
a rank
iii) The candidate without any formal educational
qualification is also eligible provided he/she completes 18
years of age as on 1st July of the year in which he/she
seeks admission and is qualified in GAT.

Admission to the programme shall be made on the basis

of pass obtained in GAT subject to the fulfillment of the
eligibility criteria.
 PGDCS 1 Year The candidate should have passed any degree or equivalent
examination recognized by GITAM University

DESM 1 Year The candidate should have passed any degree or equivalent
examination recognized by GITAM University

DCE 1 Year The candidate should have passed the two year Intermediate
examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education
of Andhra Pradesh or any examination (10+2) equivalent there
to recognized by GITAM University or a pass in the BA /
B.Com entrance examination (GAT) conducted by CDL,
GITAM University.

DCA 1 Year The candidate should have passed the two year Intermediate
examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education
of Andhra Pradesh or any examination (10+2) equivalent there
to recognized by GITAM University.
