GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Pha Rung Shipyard Company Limited - a cooperation project between Viet Nam and
Repubnic of Finland was put into operation early of 1984 for ship repair up to 17.000 DWT.
Through 30 years of operation, nearly thousand vessels of all kind such as: General cargo,
bulk carrier, oil tanker, chemical tanker, LPG tanker, container ship, dredging ship, marine
research ship, fishing vessel, offshore and service vessel for oil exploitation from domestic
and abroad has been repaired in dry dock and floating dock with the deadweight up to 17.000
DWT. Our repair activities have been performed and complied with the demand of all
classification organization such as; DNV, NKK, BY, ABS, KR, Lloyds, Register of Russian..

GENERAL NOTICE

1. The rates quoted herein are in US Dollar.

2. The rate are applicable to the work to be carried out during the normal working time
as follow; six days a week and eight hours a day. From Monday to Saturday at 7.30
a.m to 16.30 PM in Winter time and 17.00 p.m in Summer time.

Ship on voyage repair will be priced extra.

3. All price rate quoted herein are for ship repair which is carried out at premises of the
yard. Extra price should be added for such repairs carried out at the port berth, buoys,
anchorage according to the actual work to be done.
4. All scraped material except heavy parts of machinery, propeller and tailshafts shall
be the yard’s property.

5. Any vessel during the period of repair in the yard, the customer shall not be
permitted to employ any labour other outside the yard to perform the repair unless
otherwise mutual agreement between two parties.

6. This tariff is applicable to repair of freight carriers only, repair of other types of ship
are eyond if this tariff scope.

7. This tariff takes effective from January 2014 subject to revised price depending on
the change in material cost etc. without notice.

Any fraction of one subsequent day shall counted as a full day. A

2. Any vessels having gross tonnage less than of 60% her deadweight, shall
charged with dockage calculated as if her gross tons were of 60% the deadweight.

3. When the vessel with cargo onboard is allowed to drydock weight of the cargo
onboard shall be added to gross tonnage of the vessel.

4. Special vessel shall be charged extra

5. Extra charges shall be paid when: remove and replace keel blocks for access to

repair.
6. Above rates excluded towage service and line handlers for docking and
undocking .

2/ TAILSHAFT

2.3. Conventional service

- Draw of tailshaft (excepted transportation into workshop) for examination, measure


and recording, propeller to disconnect and tailshaft to draw, including removal of one

7/ TANK WORK

7.1. Manhole cover

- Opening and closing manhole cover : 18 per cover

7.2. Tank cleaning

(1) Fresh water / Sea water tank (ballast tank)

paiting and insulation, cleaning tank and gas free.

4. In the following case, extra are charged:


- Pipe in E.R, pump room, double tank and cargo hold add 25%

5. Galvanized pipe add 25%

6. High pressure pipe and and copper pipe shall be charged with extra

7. Removal and refitting of pipe (excluding test) charge above price: on deck 30% of
renewal; Engine room : 40%; double tank and pump room and cargo oil tank pipe:
50%.

8. Newly replace flange : 2.6 USD / kg ;

9. Renew elbow: 20% of price of lm pipe for pipe up to 65A. 40% up to 100A; 50%
up to 250A.
