we meet again.
Today we seek to prove that
social media is INDEED causing deterioration of
mental health among teenagers.
Just how many students can you see stressing
over small matters? Often getting emotional
breakdown? Socially isolated from the
community? Well, with the solid proofs that
were delivered by us just now, I certainly
believed that these were the outcomes of
abusing the use of social media.
The opposition has failed to understand
this simple concept because they assume that
talking about a few good examples of good
effects is good enough! Well let us tell you
instead that it is definitely NOT good enough.
They need to show us that good outcomes
is more than 51% compared to bad
and this they cannot disprove because we have
given you facts and figures to show that
mental health of teens have degenerated over
the past years.

L&G, the opposition’s line of argument is so
weak!
They did not have give us clear and convincing
facts to support their caseline.
In fact, all they seem to talk about are
sweeping statements and
dangerous generalizations!
We on the other hand,
have provided you with 5 rock solid points!
Firstly, kids nowadays are not able to separate
themselves from their mobile phones. They are
anxious of not be able to follow up their social
media feeds. They keep checking on their social
media every there and then. Always.
Secondly, teens nowadays perceive social
isolation. Rather than interacting outside of
virtual world, they seem to keep meddling in
social media, conversing with unreal friends.
Thirdly, teenagers tend to compare their lives
with others in the social media. This is the cause
of low-self-esteem, depression and self-loathe.
Fourthly, cyberbullying is highly associated with
depression, anxiety, and an elevated risk of
suicidal thoughts.
Finally, it is proved today that the more we use
social media, the less happy we seem to be and
the more socially isolated they perceived
themselves to be. And it is one of the worst
things for us.
