 About ME!
Rayna Green is a senior at Howard University pursuing
a B.A. in Public Relations, with a minor in economics.
She is a Philadelphia native who enjoys the city life.

Rayna spent her childhood in an under resourced

neighborhood of West Philadelphia. She sescribes
growing up in West Philadelphia was hard to navi-
gate the obstacles in her community. “In lieu of the
issues in my community, I am blessed to have my
mother who taught me
that through educa-
tion I have the pow-
er to change my
reality” Although,
this experience
was not ideal, it
shaped her val-
ues and sparked her
passion to create social change and to utilize edu-
cation as means to escape from her environment.

In 2014 she graduated from Bodine High School

for International Affairs and started her jour-
ney at Howard University. In hespear time Ray-
na enjoys working out, volunteering; traveing and binge watch YouTube
videos. After graduation Rayna wants to purse a career in brand and im-
age management and development. Further down the line Rayna plans to
travel the world and practice philanthropy in underprivileged countries.
