Information for candidates seeking admission to

Degree Engineering Programs under NRI Category

1. Advertisement for admissions under NRI Category will be given by the Institute in May,
2018 coinciding with the Std XII Results of the Gujarat State Board and the last date for
application specified.

2. NRI Candidates will be classified as (i) Genuine NRI (ii) NRI Sponsored

3. Genuine NRI Candidates will be given first preference.

4. Eligibility Criteria for Genuine NRI Candidate is as under:

(i) Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad and is exempt
from appearing at GUJCET.
(ii) Such candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying
examination from Association of Indian Universities, New-Delhi.
(iii) Candidate shall produce documentary evidence of own NRI Status such as
Original as well as Photo copy of the Passport of the candidate & of his/her father &
/or mother

5. Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored NRI Candidate is as under:

(i) Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination in India and must have
appeared at GUJCET.
(ii) Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will
undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.
(iii) Documentary Evidence of Sponsorer having NRI Status must also be produced.
* Notarized photo copy of the passport of the sponsorer indicating his/her NRI
status.
*Notarized copy of the affidavit from the sponsor or indicating his/her relationship
with the student and readiness to pay all the fees and to bear entire responsibility of the
education of the sponsored student.

6. Fees as per last year under this category was $20000/= for the entire program.
