Introduction

The main objective of the project is to give online shopping experience for pet lovers.
Provides the user friendly interface. Develop accurate & flexible system which will
eliminate data redundancy. Provides computerized system for saving time & money.
Less chances of information leakage. Provides security to the data by using login &
password method. Storing information of customers, employees, suppliers, products,
orders etc. Check availability of product & required stock for that product. Generating
bills for customer & payment receipt for employees as well as suppliers. The main
objective of the project is reducing the complexity involved in the shop management
system. Almost everyone has network at their home or workplace. Few people does
not get time for shopping because of their work timings. So these people can take
advantage of online shopping. User friendly interface of website helps customers ease
in shopping. Each customer has unique identity. Customers can buy many products
also they can select quantity of each products. Discounts offers are also available for
limited period.

Current System

In the current system customer visits the nearest available store and inquires about
products to the shopkeeper of the respective shop. Customer visits many shops for
better price and variety. After purchasing products bill is generated.

Shopkeeper maintains the stock by ordering products from some suppliers.The

existing system needed the customers to visit the respective store which is time
consuming.The existing system also has the disadvantage of customers getting limited
variety.

In the current system transactions and purchasing products is done manually.

Report generation of billings is also done manually.

It is also not sure that the shopkeeper will provide free home delivery.

Proposed System

Proposed system overcomes all the drawbacks of the current system. This system
gives look and feel of shopping via website. Customer can check variety of products
like fishes,fish tanks ,fish food,etc. Each customer has unique login id. Customers can
create account to this website and can purchase products.There is no data redundancy
and data is secured.

Customer can change quantity of products.He or she can make payment via card or
can pay at the time of delivery.
Admin of this website maintains the advertisements, news, products,products
quantity,order details,etc through the admin panel.

Feasibility Study

Modules

Module 1: Home Form

Home Web form contains Welcome page. It has header with website name. It has
tabular menus named home,shop now,sign in, about us, contact us and my cart.

This home web page also contains some advertisements, sliders,tips,news,etc.

Module 2: Products

This module contains the information regarding the all of the products available on
website. It has 3 different categories called fishes, tanks and accessories.

Customer can buy or add to cart the products.

Module 3: Registration and login

This module allows customers to create an account or existing users can login into
their account.

Module 4: Admin Panel

This module is totally handled by admin of the website.Admin can add or remove
products by their availability.

Admin can change advertisements or news on the home page or welcome page.

Module 5: Generation of reports

The reports are used to generate Customer bill.

Module 6: Cart

This module allows customers to maintain their shopping list and quantity of
products.
