I. PRE-ASSESSMENT:
Arrange the pictures in correct order.
Set A
picture 1 – child waking up
picture 2 – child eating breakfast
picture 3 – child riding in a bus to school

A. Activating Prior Knowledge:
Unlock the meaning of the words: fell off, fix
The button of my polo shirt fell off.
Mother will fix it when I come home.
B. Presentation:
Today, You will listen to a story about Mateo.
Let’s find out what Mateo’s toy is,
Mateo’s Toy
One day, Mateo played with his toy car.
“Crack!” Oh no, the door fell off!” “It’s okay, Mateo.” father said. “I can fix it.”

D. Comprehension Check-up:
1. Who is the boy in the story?
2. What does he have?
3. What happened to his toy car?
4. How did he feel when it happened?
5. Who will fix the toy car?
6. What do you think will Mateo tell his father?

E. Guided Practice:
