PART 1 UNIT 1

Part 1: After checking the Unit 1 Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1 sentence using each
one of the modal verbs regarding your duties and rights at home: can – could – may
- must - should - ought to – have to – need to- had better - would.

1. I could cook my breakfast every day

2. I may use the bathroom in the morning

3. I should like to wash my clothes

4. I ought to do cleanliness to my room

5. I have to go the school always

6. I need to go to the park more

7. I had better performance this month at school

Part 2: According to the topic Past Progressive (Unit 1: Topic 3), each student must
write 5 things you were doing a few hours ago and 5 things you were not:

Part 3: Write a text about how you imagine your city in fifty years. Use at least two
pictures related to your text. You should write four paragraphs:

Example: Ibague will have a modern public service of flying buses.

Paragraph 1: Introduction

Next I Will talk about how my city could be in fifty years.

All this content is embodied in the imagination and is the product of imagination, I
might sound a bit exaggerated in the folowing wording, Although this, it may not be
far from reality;

But surely you would like to read it.

Paragraph 2: Public transport

I think that Curumaní could have autonomous electric taxis,

we should have municipal air buses, in the future.

I know we Will have smart trffic lights and streets with virtual police to avoid
accidents. Each person will have in the future a smart chip implanted to pay for
transportation.

I also believe that there will be digital speed reducers in the future, where no one
can pass the speed limits.

Paragraph 3: Health services

In fifty years, the health service in my city will be very much at home, each person
will have an automatic intelligent machine, which will detect any type of disease.
We can not expect hospitals to be in front.

It is going to be very easy to look after the persons.

All people will see the doctor through a horogram

Paragraph 4: Economy

In fifty years, Curumani's economy will be highly systematized.

Each person in Curumani must carry a chip implanted in the skin, There will be
scanners that will read this chip, where we will buy.

The production of money will give out in a few decades.

The money will not be physically in the bank, but only in the system
