Instructions for Final Round at Radiance IIT Bombay in March 2019

Congrats ! You have been selected from the PRELIMS round and now you will be
competing with the other FINALIST’s at IIT Bombay on 16th March 2019


Before coming for the FINAL round, you need to Brush up your skills on following
things, as the tasks (PRACTICAL) would be based on it:


1. Basic Linux, Windows skills and some basic knowledge of programming.

2. Basic of Linux & Security Include Linux Password Breaking, Password Reset,

Remotely Exploitation of Linux Machine from Metasploit.

3. Learn Password Cracking Techniques of Document, Excel, PDF, ZIP, RAR files.

Including - Guessing Attack, Brute-force Attack, Hybrid Attack, Rainbow table attack.

4. Networking Skill Include, Scanning Network, Traffic Monitoring, Wireshark

Encryption & Decryption, Steganography Techniques, Finding Vulnerable Ports &

Logs Analysis etc.

5. Email Tracking & Social Media Profile Investigation Techniques.

6. Running Virtual-box Include - Creating Virtual Machine, Creating System Cloning,

Running .VDI file etc.

7. Files Analysis Techniques Include Header Information, Metadata Info etc.

8. Basic of Web applications Exploitation & Security Include XSS Attack, CSRF,

Exploitation of file Upload options etc.

9. Learn how to prepare and send report for POC

Rules and Regulations

• Only students who have been selected from the Prelims Round at the
different Zonal Centers can participate in this event

• Incase you are not interested / not able to come for Final round, you need to
inform us 7 days before the Event Final date.

• The decision of the judges shall be treated as final and binding on all. i3indya
Technologies has all the rights to verify the identity and accuracy of the
details provided by the participants.

• No responsibility will be held by i3indya Technologies or Radiance, IIT
Bombay for any late, lost or misdirected entries.


Event Flow Chart: (Proposed / Tentative)

• Students need to gather at Event Venue by 8:15 AM Sharp (Event Venue
would be informed 3-4 days before the Event Final Date i.e 16th March 2019)
• 10 Mins – Overview of Challenge / Task to be give and Student Queries
• 6 Hrs time to Solve the Task
• After 6 Hrs, Last 30 Mins to compile and submit your answers
• Result would be announced same day till 7 PM


Things to Remember

• Kindly bring your own Laptop and Hi-Speed Internet with you.

• i3indya doesn’t assure you for accommodation facility at Radiance IIT
Bombay and you may have to arrange for your fooding and lodging on your
own.

• You need to carry your Merit / Participation Certificate during the Final
Round without which you won’t be allowed to enter IIT campus.

• No Faculty / Parent would be allowed inside IIT Campus, they can only
accompany till IIT gate with you.

• You must reach IIT Bombay campus on/before the Final date of Radiance
2019 announced on www.radianceiitb.org

• Radiance 2019, Techfest of IIT Bombay Mechanical Dept is on 16th - 17th
March 2019 and Cyber Disease 2019 is a part of this fest on 16th March 2019,
you can come and participate in different events of Radiance on 17th, if you
wish to join.

• Further updates on the Challenge would be updated to you at your registered
email Id and phone number with us.
