Strengthened boom
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) has been used to calculate the best
distribution of loads throughout the boom structure. Combined with
increased material thickness, this means that element fatigue is limited
and both reliability and component life are increased.
Arm assembly
Cast elements have been used and reinforcement has been added
around the bosses to give the arm assembly greater strength and
a longer lifetime.
