Banana Republic offered affordable product especially for students. It is located at Taft
Avenue near Santa Isabel College of Manila. Banana Republic is owned by seven senior high
school abm students who are currently studying in SICM. It is a food stand business that offers a
healthy kind of snack that is very delicious yet affordable. Banana Republic product will surely
fits for everyone especially those students that are always on the go and need to same more
money. Banana Republic will offer its product in retail. It intends to sell directly at store. Its
target market is that price sensitive segment.

B. BRIEF PROFILE OF THE ENTREPRENEURS

Banana republic is owned and manage of seven students namely: Julia Maureen Calingo,
Maria Christiel Costillas, Khumbmela Dela Cruz, Kyla Beatriz Hernandez, Siera Mariz Mortela,
Rica Tenio and Radel Valles. Who are currently studying as a senior high school student at Santa
Isabel College Manila with track ABM- Business Management. The seven students came up with
this idea because of their experiences they wanted to help everyone specially students to have a
convenient and best snack with an affordable price. The entrepreneurs not only for students but
also for everyone. The knowledge they gain from their professors help them to start up the
business. They first conducted a study in which they gathered data on how to make a delicious
banana pancake with chocolate dip with a low cost to make sure that they will satisfy their
potential customer.

C. PROJECT CONTRIBUTION TO THE LOCAL ECONOMY

Banana Republic business really gives importance to customers and other people that is
included in the business. For the employees of the said business, they will all given the benefits
they reserved and they will be treated equally and properly inside and even outside the business.
Banana Republic business will be operating at United Nation, along Taft Avenue Manila which
has quite a big population since it is surrounded by University schools (like U-Belt) and it is also
beside LRT Station and highway. As the business grow, the management and its operations will
add more exciting and unique menu and expand the production to attract more customers. The
business will be fair and transparent all the time in order to gain customers loyalty. In every
business, Customers loyalty is a must. It will undergo on the legal process in order to pay the
right amount of tax and get all the legal documents such as DTI permit, barangay permit and etc.

II. BACKGROUND AND BUSINESS CONCEPT

The business concept was based on the demand of the students especially the students in
the Santa Isabel College of Manila, as well as that we offer affordable and quality products from
our company, the Banana Republic. As a starting business our company don't need a huge

amount of capital. We do this business for the sake of our Research Project and preparation for
our future in the "Corporate World." Our company's target is to surpass the satisfaction of our
dear customers. As a business owners we are all aware that most of the people is going on
healthy lifestyle that's why we know our product will boom to all people.

III. DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

Banana Republic is a food peddling business that offers healthy snacks. The
entrepreneurs came up to create a unique kind of banana. The product itself is made up of banana
and pancake mix. And it will guarantee that it will meet your satisfaction as a customer.

The owners invest minimal amount of money from their own savings. they decided that in this
small amount of money they can offer people good food as well as they can earn profit. The
company decided to produce snacks that encourage people to save time and money. Banana
Republic will produce low price products but satisfying banana.

human consumption.

Be responsible towards our planets and natural resources, together with producing the best

The Banana Republic dessert is very healthy and safe. All the ingredients use are freshly
made and flavorful. The Banana Republic offers a good quality of services and delicious dessert.

The competitive advantage of a product over those available in the market is its affordability
yet in a delicious and good quality of the food. The Banana Republic always make sure that the
price is lower that competitors because they believe that lower prices of product led to attract
more consumer. And having a good services to the customers will satisfy their needs and wants.
