Hurricane Dorian - Revised Operating Hours

Wednesday, September 4, 2019 - Due to Hurricane Dorian, listed below are the revised operating hours
for all Horry County Recycling Centers and SWA Operations:

Recycling Centers:
Wednesday, September 4, 2019 – Normal Operating Hours, depending on weather conditions.
Thursday, September 5, 2019 – All Recycling Centers Closed
Friday, September 6, 2019 – All recycling centers scheduled to be open at 7:00AM will open at
12:00PM, if possible. All recycling centers scheduled to open at 1:00PM will open at 1:00PM, if
possible.
Saturday, September 7, 2019 – All Recycling Centers will operate under Normal Operating
Hours - 7:00AM-7:00PM, if possible.

Dumping garbage at a closed recycling center is illegal and violators are subject to prosecution.

SWA Landfill:
Wednesday, September 4, 2019 – Normal Operating Hours, depending on weather conditions.
Thursday, September 5, 2019 – Closed
Friday, September 6, 2019 – Landfill will open at 12:00PM, if possible
Saturday, September 7, 2019 – Normal Operating Hours, if possible.

SWA Material Recovery Facility:

Wednesday, September 4, 2019 – Normal Operating Hours, depending on weather conditions.
Thursday, September 5, 2019 – Closed
Friday, September 6, 2019 – MRF will open at 7:00AM, if possible
Saturday, September 7, 2019 – Normal Operating Hours, if possible.
