On a different note, Fellnhofer is a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Economic Sciences and has completed

53 research studies which focus on different aspects such as entrepreneurs, strategy management, and
innovation. As a young researcher, she already had 256 citations in all of her works where 14 of it came
from this journal.

In the discussion of results, the author clarified that critical bivariate correlation and multi-
collinearity is not an issue which proves that the instrument used is appropriate. Then, with the help of
linear regression, the empirical results matched all six of the hypotheses created by the researcher. See
Table 6 (Annex).

The research model as seen in Fig. 2 explained well the positive and significant influence of all the
entrepreneurial dimensions at each level on innovation success in sustainability-oriented firms. With
regards to the control variables, only the industry sectors and gender has an effect. Employees from
different sectors and from opposite genders perceived the different construct dimensions at the firm,
group, and individual level.

Apart from this, the author also discussed the contributions the research has on previous studies
enumerated as follows: (1) It enhanced research with qualitative approach on relationship between
entrepreneurship and innovation through the analysis of Stevenson’s construct dimensions at different
organization levels; (2) It supplemented the past conceptual framework of Wales through the assumed
homogenous approach of the entrepreneurial concept throughout an organization; (3) It expanded
Stevenson’s opportunity based conceptualization of entrepreneurship by stressing the impact on
innovation success. With this, it can be inferred that the six dimensional constructs of Stevenson exhibits
the different drivers of innovation success in a sustainability-driven organization.
