Implementing Methodology

I. Engineering Works and Permits

A. Working Detailed Drawings

Provision of Key Map, Schematic Design, Cross Section and elevations and details of Special
Construction/Installation such as: Pole Installation, Aerial Installation and its accessories,
concrete breaking/restoration works and other constructions/installations in accordance with
Globe/Huawei Standards and other Government concerned agencies.

B. Permits

Acquisition of Permits from DPWH, LGU, Barangays and other concerned agencies.

C. Preliminaries

Contractor will conduct survey and verification (staking) of site as per provided in the
Engineering Plan with Huawei representative prior to project implementation.

Proper coordination and courtesy call to Barangay, government and non-government

concerned entities and any local facilities to avoid possible destruction of other companies
facility before the start of any excavation/concrete breaking activities within the site premises.

II. CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR POLE and AERIAL INSTALLATION

A. Excavation/Concrete Breaking

Joint survey with Huawei representative and contractor for verification of final location of Pole
as per plan vs. Actual. This will include breaking of concrete which might have existing utilities
such as electric, water and other Telcos.

B. Footing/Pedestal

Concreting of footing/pedestal shall conform to standards including reinforcements.

C. Pole Erection

Erection of pole shall be base on the approved design and specs. It shall conform the standard
of Globe. Make sure the area is safe before pole is erected by the use of Boomtruck.
 D. Aerial Cable Installation

Cable laying installation shall always conform to aerial installation standard of construction. The
use of cable jack during cable laying to avoid cable twisting. Fixing of pole dressing right after
cable laying shall be implemented. No temporary installation will be allowed.

E. Equipment installation

Equipment installation for: Atom Cell and other Globe Equipments shall conform to standard
and follow the given elevation as per Engineering Design.

III. RESTORATION WORKS

Restoration and compaction for footing and affected concrete pavement back to its original
condition.

IV. SAFETY AND QUALITY

Safety and quality shall conform to Globe/Huawei standard.

Safety personnel shall be assigned to every project site. His task is to conduct daily inspection to
ensure that safety and quality of work is implemented at all times.

Shall install signages from the start until completion of the project.

Provision of proper warning/information signs and adequate lighting facilities,

barricades/bollards.

Wearing of reflectorized vest shall also implemented to assigned personnel working in the
project.

Necessary precautions shall be undertaken in order not to endanger/ or cause inconvenience to

motorists and pedestrians, during the duration of work.

V. PROJECT TURN-OVER

A. AS-BUILT PLAN DIGITIZED Hard and SOFT COPY

Provision of as-built plan duly accepted and approved by Globe/Huawei.
