A. MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear Mr/Mrs Human Resource Manager

I would like to apply for an internship at your company. My name is

Muhammad Agha Hutama Syukron. I was graduated at Physics Engineering,
Engineering Faculty, University of Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. I am currently a
second year Master student, Reservoir Engineering at École National
Supérieur Geology Nancy, France.
Throughout my experience, my previous internship focused on the
interpretation of hydrocarbons in anticline layers, analyzed about Tawun
Gegunung Energy’s (TGE) preparations before drilling in its operating area in
Indonesia. So the study of Geology, Geophysics and Reservoir (GGR)
needed to support and understand the cross-section and the state of the sub-
surface, G & G studies and reservoir are essential to reduce the risk in the
work-over and drilling as well as references in developing oil field
development. The problems is the old oil field that will be reactivated by TGE
have minimum data that concern about the recent condition of old wells in this
field, at sub-surface and exploration department. As an energetic young talent
with solid technical knowledge, I am capable of working efficiently both in
team as well as independently. Additionally, I am having strong English and
French proficiency and good professional adaptability.
I am confidence at my skill and experiences will be an asset to your
program. This internship would provide me with the ideal opportunity to assist
at your organization and to expand my skills.

B. PROPOSE

• The tasks required for this internship will provide a professional

atmosphere in which to practice many concepts learned in classes.

• I propose "RESERVOIR INTERPRETATION, DRILLING AND

EXPLORATION" as my topics research project but basically I submit


to the Company to decide my title selection research,

accordance with the opportunity and the availability of existing data
as well as the needs desired by the Company.

• I am also interested to analyze the research scientific that concern

about Building a workflow Seismic Structural Interpretation of 3D
Achieving structural seismic interpretation: QC Data, wedging the
well, pointed horizons and faults , or creating a structural model and
identify potential Model a velocity field to achieve a conversion time /
Depths.

C. INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Time Schedule and Planning

According the academic schedule, time of execution of this internship

is planned for six months or plus, start from in February-May 2016.

To support the research activities needed some tools support such as:
1. Access to the library and the literature that relates
2. Access to the Internet
3. Access to copy the data
4. Mess/Boarding
5. Equipment that support research
6. Safety Equipment such as safety boots, safety helmet, safety
glasses, wear-pack.
7. Transportation and accommodation during internship program.

My faculty advisor for this internship is Mrs. Irina Panvilov

field is expected to be provided by Company.


E. CONCLUSION
