STATEMENT OF EXPLANATION

I , completed Bachelors of Hotel Management

from university of on 2019. During my studies I realize that I have strong
inclination towards food production. So I thought to study deeper in the culinary
area and I started to search for new courses. My friends and family suggested me
to study aboard as there is a wide range of courses and scope for large job
opportunities and i was egger to explore new cuisines also. In order to build a
new career in my area of interest in food production I decided to choose Culinary
Management from Centennial College, Canada.

Culinary Management combines cooking courses and business courses to prepare

for management roles or entrepreneurial opportunities within the food industry.
This course will provide me the fundamental skills and emerging culinary trends
such as local sustainable foods, nutrition and international influences, required to
perform well in the culinary industry and also learn how to ensure the safe
operation of the kitchen and all the aspects of food preparation to promote
healthy work spaces, responsible kitchen management and efficient use of
resources. I will be introduced to a variety of processing and preparation
methods, theories and cooking methods. Effective food management techniques
will be explored that focus on product origin, product quality and government
standards and regulations. I will gain a fundamental knowledge of food and
baking theories and practices as they relate to the operations and institutional
settings. By studying this I can learn international cuisine, menu designing, baking,
pastry arts, buffet, quantity cooking, restaurant food production etc. The
significant highlight of the program is freedom to explore the culinary passions. I
hope to find a horizon in my career life from a chef in a restaurant or institutional
setting to catering company owner or I can start my own multi cuisine restaurant
in my own country.

I chose Centennial College for my higher studies due to some solid reasons. First
and foremost, it is one of the best colleges in Canada where discipline and
teaching standards are maintained. Second, it is the best known for its record of
exemplary teaching, innovative programming and extensive partnership building.
Centennial is recognized as one of the most culturally diverse post-secondary
institutions in Canada. Centennial College has a good history of student
satisfaction in terms of quality of service, programming and resource.

I prefer Canada to do this course because Canada’s education system is excellent

and also it’s a beautiful, peaceful and stable country with low crime rates. The
quality of education and the living standards of Canada are recognized as one of
the best in the world, so it will surely help me to get excellent education that will
open doors to my long run career prospects.
