trinity of Life (and Dharma)

Houses 1, 5 and 9 or Fiery signs - Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. These are
related to duty, soul progress in the spiritual evolution, the philosophy of
life, worship, learning, honesty and moral values.

Trinity of Artha (wealth etc.)

Houses 2, 6 and 10 or Earthy signs - Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.
These are related to wealth, possessions, food, honor, social standing,
efforts, livelihood.

Trinity of Relationships (and desires)

Houses 3, 7 and 11 or Airy signs - Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. These
are related to neighbors, communication, journeys, marriage,
partnerships, friends, all types of desires.

Trinity of Moksha (Liberation of Soul)

Houses 4, 8 and 12 or Watery signs - Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. These
are related to final resting place (grave), rebirth, longevity (the span of
life), type of death (a natural or an unnatural one), awakening of
Kundalini, surrender of the ego, detachment from everything, cosmic
consciousness, psychic faculties, out-of-body experience (OBE), near-
death-experience (NDE), etc.

A person who has planets connected with moksha (salvation and psychic)
houses - 4, 8 and 12 - is driven by a desire to unearth the mysterious and
divine powers.

First house denotes body + soul.

8th house signifies span of life. It shows the length of time the soul stays
in the body. It also shows the time when the soul leaves the body.
12th house shows the soul's actual path. Which path is the soul’s choice? is
to be studied using the 12th house.
Rahu always indicates requirements for soul's developments and
advancements in some areas by staying under the illusion (Maya).

Here I mention a single principle for checking rebirth in the horoscope -

Take 8th house lord, 8th house star lord, 8th house cusp sub lord and find
out if these planets are connected with Rahu. If yes, then there can be an
indication of rebirth.

If these 8th house planets are connected with Ketu, Jupiter, and 12th
house, then there is no need for a reincarnation of the soul. It means the
salvation of the soul.

Below, I have given 2 examples. Charts are strictly prepared according to

“placidus house system”. Only houses (bhavas) are considered here for
analysis purpose. Signs are not taken for analysis.

1st Example -
Take 8th cusp star lord and sub lord. It is Saturn. He is placed in
Hastha star. Hastha star lord is Moon. Moon occupied in 12th house
(moksha). Saturn is in the sub of Ketu and saturn is being aspected by
Jupiter. Thus, 8th cusp sub lord has connections with all the three -
Jupiter, Ketu, and 12th house. Definitely, there is no need for
reincarnation for this great soul.

2nd example -

Take 8th house lord and 8th cusp sub lord. He is Mercury. He decides
where to go. He is in retrogression state. Mercury is in the star of Rahu
who is an agent of Sun (in 12th house). Mercury is in the sub of ketu.
Ketu is an agent of Jupiter. Ketu is placed in 9th house (higher
consciousness). Also Mercury is being aspected by Jupiter. Thus,
Mercury has connections with Jupiter, Ketu and 12th house. Now, take
8th house star lord - he is Moon. He is also being aspected by Jupiter.
Moon is in the sub of saturn. Ascendant and 12th house lord Saturn is
placed in 8th house and is in retrogression state. Moon in the sub of
Saturn showing “no wish to reincarnate.” Hence, another birth is not
required for this great soul.
