4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice
When symptoms persist or in all cases of doubt seek medical advice. If unconscious, place in recovery position and get
medical attention immediately. Show this material safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

If inhaled
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician. Keep victim
warm and quiet. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Maintain an open airway. Persons who have
inhaled vapors or smoke fumes have to be put under medical observation for at least 48 hours, due to the delayed
appearance of poisoning.

In case of skin contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if
irritation develops and persists. In case of burns, immediately cool affected skin for as long as possible with cold water. For
severe burns, immediate medical attention is required. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated
shoes.

In case of eye contact

Immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15
minutes. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms occur.

If swallowed
If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Call a physician or poison control center immediately.
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie,
belt or waistband. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so
by a physician. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration. Maintain an open airway. If not
breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Notes to physician
Treat symptomatically. Contact with hot material: Treat for thermal burns. Persons who have inhaled vapors or smoke fumes
have to be put under medical observation for at least 48 hours, due to the delayed appearance of poisoning.

to comply with the occupational exposure limits. If this product contains ingredients with exposure limits, personal, workplace
atmosphere or biological monitoring may be required to determine the effectiveness of the ventilation or other control
measures and/or the necessity to use respiratory protective equipment.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment

Respiratory protection
Use a properly fitted, particulate filter respirator complying with an approved standard if a risk assessment indicates this is
necessary Respirator selection must be based on known or anticipated exposure levels, the hazards of the product and the
safe working limits of the selected respirator. If exposure limits are exceeded or irritation is experienced, use respiratory
protection must be approved by the NIOSH / MSHA. When the concentration of airborne contaminants is high, the use of it
may be necessary.

3
Hand protection
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use .Use the correct removal technique gloves (without touching glove's
outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Discard gloves contaminated after use in accordance with applicable
laws and good laboratory practices laws. Wash and dry hands.

Eye protection
Face shield and safety glasses. Use equipment eye protection tested and approved under the rules governmental
authorities, such as NIOSH (U.S.) or EN 166 (EU).

Protecting the Skin

Lightweight protective clothing: Long sleeved clothing Chemical resistant apron, impervious gloves. Wear impervious rubber
clothing if needed to prevent contact with liquid material Work clothing that becomes wet or significantly contaminated should
be removed and replaced. Wear rubber boots if needed to prevent skin contact with liquid material Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse, discard contaminated shoes. Wear protective gloves and additional protective clothing as necessary to
prevent exposures.
