A PROPOSED MATHEMATICS WORKSHEETS

WORKING TITLE FOR DAILY LESSON LOG (DLL)
GRADE 7- QUARTER 1 ( A TEACHER’S GUIDE)

This study aims to:

1. Find out the effectiveness of the worksheet for the
teachers in grade 7 level.
2. Be an effective teaching aid for teachers to lighten their
daily lesson plan.
3. Lessen the time consumed by the students in copying their
lessons.
4. Instil in the minds of the students the importance of time
management in their daily activities.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
Specifically, it aims to answer the following questions:
1. What are the attitudes/expectations of the respondents
towards the teaching and learning of mathematics in
grade 7 ?
2. What makes the teaching performance of the
respondents be more effective?
3. Is there a significant relationship between the teaching
attitudes of the respondents and the learning materials
used?

Attitudes towards the important determinants of

academic success and achievement. In order to succeed in a
subject , positive attitude towards a subject is a necessary

prerequisite. This also applies to mathematics.
PROBLEM
The main purpose of the study is to propose a
mathematics worksheets for Daily Lesson Log (DLL) ,Grade 7
Quarter 1 ( A Teacher’s Guide).

The researcher hopes that this study will be a good guide

in improving mathematics instructions. Information gathered
on this study maybe used by policy decision makers in
education on the effectiveness of the educational system.
FRAMEWORK/PHILOSOPHICAL
UNDERPINNING
To the administrator, it is hoped that the results of this
study may lend insights in promoting academic achievements
in Mathematics. School Administrators and curriculum planners
may use the findings as a gauge for determining their
mathematical objectives are attained.
 Result of the assessment will enable school administrators in
proposing alternatives for improvements of mathematical
curriculum.
To the researcher, this study will be a good guide in their
teaching process, to develop the positive attitudes. Therefore
they can help themselves to motivate and to understand the
approaches that may develop their academic performance.
To the teachers, this study could be of great help in
teaching mathematics in grade seven and they must
look into the academic performance of their students.
