14
Bank of Punjab is one of the most emerging banks in our country. In recent times they have increased

2.1.5Deposit Department
One thing is sure here those banks are mostly relying on their customer which gives them their capital in
form of the deposit. This deposit belongs to the different parties. Bank makes huge profit if the spread
between the lending and borrowed rate is wide. If the bank has larger capital it gives more credit to
parties and will earn more profit.
Bank does not take deposit for the purpose of the save keeping they take the deposit lend to other
parties. It becomes the relationship of the creditor and debtor. Customer is then become the creditor for
the bank and same vice versa. So bank must make proper investment of the money to earn a profit Bank
of Punjab provides different kind of deposits in their bank.
Some of them are written as follow

This is opposite to the demand deposits; in this kind of deposit the client easy withdraw the money at
any time. These deposits are for the shorter period of time. In this kind of deposit the customer will earn
the profit out of its deposit.

2.1.9Call Deposits :
These deposits are given to the bank usually by the contractors against any tender. These deposits are
without interest rate, or may be interest can be provided with will of the bank.

2.1.10Term Deposits:
This type of deposit is same to the short notice term deposits, but the key difference is that these deposits
are for the longer period of time.

same was the case with other specialized internees .But I would suggest that one must works in
