At a department store in Bali, a tourist from Washington, Miley and Daniel are going to by some
clothes.
Daniel : This store has various items. There are many clothes and souvenirs here.
Miley : Yes, you’re right.
Daniel : What do you think about this shirt?
Miley : Mmm… but I don’t think red is the right colour for you. I think blue will be better.
Daniel : Do you really think so? I think red is nice.
Miley : Actually, I think red is too bright for you.
Daniel : mmmm… I guess you’re right.
Miley : But there is no blue shirt here. Let’s ask to the shopkeeper.
Daniel : Yeaaah…

Asking and giving opinion.


Victoria : Hi…. Kayla. Where are you going anyway?
Kayla : Oh. Hi Vic. I’m going to the library.
Victoria : Oh... Hey maybe you can also borrow teen lit or chick lit there?
Kayla : Well, I think that’s impossible, Vic. Because I don’t like those books. In my
opinion, the stories are not so interesting and sometime they’re so boring.
Victori : I see. According to me, the books are okay. The stories are based on the everyday
facts in teenager’s life.
Kayla : Then, we have different opinion about it Vic. And I appreciate your opinion.

Kegiatan Inti - Peserta didik mengidentifikasi ungkapan-ungkapan mengenai
ungkapan menanyakan dan memberikan pendapat
- Peserta didik mengidentifikasi perbedaan ungkapan agreement
and disagreement dengan sebuah pendapat.

- Menanyakan hal-hal terkait pernyataan pendapat dan fikiran
seperti cara menenyetujui pendapat dan sebaliknya
- Menanyakan lebih jauh mengenai language features (fungsi
sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan) dari pernyataan
pendapat dan fikiran
Mengeksplorasi
- Peserta ddidk diberikan sebuah topik, kemudian membuat
sebuah percakapan yang didalamnya terdapat asking opinion,
giving opinion, agreeing with an opinion and disagreeing with
an opinion secara berkelompok.
- Peserta didik memerankan percakapan yang mereka buat
tersebut kedepan kelas secara berpasangan
Mengasosiasi
- Perta didik membandingkan perbedaan antara asking, giving,
agreement, disagreement sebuah pendapat yang diperagakan
oleh kelompok lain
- Mendapat umpan balik dari guru
Mengkomunikasikan
- Setelah peserta didik selesai berdiskusi, peserta didik
mengemukakan hasil diskusinya tentang perbedaan antara
asking, giving, agreement, disagreement sebuah pendapat yang
diperoleh dari kelompok lain.
- Peserta didik bersama guru menyimpulkan hasil pembelajaran 10 menit
terkait dengan apa yang telah dipelajari pada pertemuan ini.

1. Program Remedial
a. Pembelajaran remedial dilakukan bagi peserta didik yang capaian KD nya belum tuntas
b. Tahapan pembelajaran remedial dilaksanakan melalui remidial teaching, atau tutor sebaya,
atau penugasan dan diakhiri dengan tes.
c. Tes remedial, dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali dan apabila setelah 3 kali tes remedial belum
mencapai ketuntasan, maka remedial dilakukan dalam bentuk penugasan tanpa tes tertulis
kembali

Bagi peserta didik yang sudah mencapai nilai ketuntasan diberikan pembelajaran pengayaan
sebagai berikut:
a. Peserta didik yang mencapai nilai diberikan materi masih dalam cakupan KD dengan
pendalaman sebagai pengetahuan tambahan
b. Peserta didik yang mencapai nilai diberikan materi melebihi cakupan KD dengan
pendalaman sebagai pengetahuan tambahan.

Dialogue
Situation: Carlos, Joice, and Emily are talking about Carlos' problem at the canteen.
Carlos : Dear friends, I have a serious problem now. But I haven't found the
solution yet. I'm confused. Can you help me?
Joice : Tell us what it is!
Carlos : Yeah. Next month I must stop my studies because my father retired three
months ago. So he cannot pay my school fees.
Emily : Take it easy. It's not a serious problem.
Carlos : What? How can I solve the problem?
Emily : Okay. I reckon you ask for a letter from the authority telling that your
family can't afford the school fees. Then you submit the letter to your school or to the
parents' representative.
Joice : In my opinion, you can also request scholarship. I think you are the

Situation: The instructors of the English club, Tiffany, Julian and Ester are talking about the quality
of improvement in their English club. Now, they are in the classroom.

Tiffany : Our headmaster wanted us to improve and increase the quality of us
