Learning Outcomes:

1. Recognise and understand normal anatomy and physiology using a systems


approach.
2. Demonstrate an understaning of the physiological basis of the practice of a range of
safe nursing skills.
3. Recognise the importance of appropriate communication skills when interacting with
adults, their family and multi-agency colleagues.
4. Demonstrate safety in medicine calculations.
