Its significance to the CSQC’s current setup regarding wastes is that if organic fertilizers perform better
than chemical ones then that would mean we can use food scraps as organic fertilizer for the school’s trees
and plants. This would be beneficial since food scraps will not contribute to the increase in the garbage but
would instead make the soil and plants healthy, strong, and help our trees grow.
VARIABLES:
Independent Variable: Organic Fertilizer, Chemical Fertilizer
Dependent Variable: The plant’s size and growth,
Control Variable: Amount of water and sunlight received by the plant
HYPOTHESIS:
If the organic fertilizer performs better than the chemical ones, then the plant tested with the organic fertilizer
will grow taller and wider.
To further explain this hypothesis it means that when the data comes out and the organic fertilizers perform
better than its chemical counterpart the effects would be that the plant tested with the organic fertilizer would
grow larger than the plant tested with the chemical one.
