Vocollect Voice Command Glossary

 "Ready" - Vocollect’s default way of navigating through a prompt that does not require any user input. If you
aren’t sure what to say, try “Ready”.
 "Say again" - Makes the device repeat the prompt that it just said.
 "None" or "Zero" - These terms can be spoken when at the location prompt in order to completely short a pick.
(It will set the quantity picked to 0. If you want to do a partial short, speak the desired quantity at the quantity
prompt.)
 "Skip slot" - This command can be spoken at the location prompt in order to skip the current pick. At the end of
picking, these items will be returned for. You must either pick or short these products to finish picking.
 "Skip aisle" - This command can be spoken at the aisle prompt, and skips all the picks in the aisle.
 "Sign off" - This command can be spoken when done picking (before getting work), and allows changes to the
Vocollect settings to take effect. (Master control and employee settings.)
 "Description" - This command can be spoken when at a location prompt, and gives the product description to
the picker, using the following hierarchy: Voice pick description > Full description > Rec Name (These are all set
on the product record.)
 "Reprint labels" - Allows the user to reprint the pallet labels at any time during picking, if this is allowed in
Vocollect settings (master control.)
 "Take a break" - This command lets the user take a break. A user may take a break by saying "take a break."
Vocollect will respond, prompting "take a break, correct?" to which a user may say "yes" or "no." If the user
confirms, Vocollect will say "break type". The user speaks the break type number set up under WMS > Pick
Break Reasons. Vocollect will respond speaking the break reason associated with the number (i.e. "Coffee
break, correct?"). User responds "Yes". Vocollect responds "Say ready to continue work".
 "Talkman" - This causes the device to enter a “help” mode, which allows you to give the following commands to
the device:
 "Help" - The device lists all the possible responses that you can give at the particular prompt.
 "Sleep" - Puts the device to sleep
 "Wake" - Wakes the device up

Notes: When entering a number larger than 1 digit, the numbers should all be spoken individually. For example, if
the device says “Pick thirty five”, the user will respond with “three five” not “thirty five”. PIN numbers should also be
entered in this way. (“4567” should be spoken as “four five six seven”.)
