MORNING SPEECH

Skill / Topic : Speaking / Describing Personal Dislike


Date / Time : June 11th – 13th 2019 / 60 minutes
Instructor : Al Araf Amala

Competence Standard:
Having sufficient ability to describe personal interests, including personal
dislikes in English with correct expressions related to hobbies, interests and
activities in real life.

Basic Competence:
Using the expressions of personal dislikes in English related to hobbies, interests
and activities in real life.

Goal:
By the end of the meeting, the students are expected to have sufficient knowledge
to use the expressions of personal dislikes in English related to hobbies, interests
and activities in real life..

Indicators:
1. Through a lecturing, students are able to recognize the expression of showing
personal dislikes well.
2. Through a gap filling task, students are required to comprehend the use of
those expressions in contextalized setting.
3. Through a mini project and discussion, the students are required to make a
dialogue in pair talking about their personal dislike.
Instructional Objectives:
Having given abrief lecture and discussion, students are able to:
1. Recognize the expression of showing personal dislike
2. Comprehend the use of those expressions in contextualized setting
3. Use the expressions of personal dislikes in contextualized setting on a mini
roleplay

Appendix 2. Situation

Make a short dialogue in pair, ask about the things that your friend may like.
Take turn in asking and answering. Practice it. You will perform the dialogue
in front of all participnats and keep listening so that you can fix your frined
pronounciation.
