Conclusão
Este trabalho levanta a hipótese da existência
de uma relação entre o valor da PCR e os
marcadores de gravidade da bronquiolite agu-
da, sugerindo que a PCR possa ter valor prog-
nóstico em crianças internadas por bronquio-
lite. Requer, no entanto, confirmação através
de estudos subsequentes devidamente dese-
nhados para analisar esta hipótese e excluir o
eventual efeito de infecções associadas.
