ICT in Education: How do the epoch of technology cook lessons

The alchemy of education and technology brought expansion to how students learn. Teachers
nowadays utilize various educational materials such as laptops, overhead projector, a plasma
television and several digital tools which assist students for further learning. These mentioned
devices allow both the students and teachers to be more engaging in their lesson, both in the class
and online premises. The ICT on education is earnestly developing how the lessons are
communicated. Teachers are no longer limited to their manner of instruction and their learners at the
same time will not be hungered as to how they receive the information.

Information Technology is a combination of communication, reservation, processing and


multimedia capabilities. ICT has an important prominent role in the knowledge due to its changeable
ability and its capability to making relationship among students. ICT has brought changes towards
the basic and fundamental goals of education making more learners relish in proficiency and
productivity. (Shahmir, 2019) As Shahmir (2019) had reiterated with regards to how ICT shifts the
educational goals taking pleasure in relishing the students’ proficiency and productivity, UKEssays

to how the students’ adeptness are being developed. According to the said website, teachers may
always depend on the information from the web due to its convenience. But the danger that the web

written with a personal point of view which comprises the truth. Through the teachers’ dependence
with the technology, they may become incompetent themselves because of the convenience ICT is

procrastinate. The phenomenon of cutting and pasting are so popular among students. They trim the

skirmishes the ultimate goal of education. He cited several reasons why ICT helps among those

environments just like in OECD countries where teachers are aided by technological tools supporting
this what we call learner-centric methods. And on the other hand, the utilization of ICTs can be used
to support change and or even extend the existing teaching practices that might be obsolete at the
present and in this way; both the teachers and the learners will be more engaging.

Amidst of the opposition against ICT, there are still more overwhelming reasons that
overpower the whole educational community to continue using technology-paired mechanisms in
teaching. There may be danger on their use but these perils do not exchange the benefits ICT enabled
to provide to make learning in school be much convenient and engaging.
